#FiorelliTravels: A Sunny Afternoon in Notting Hill
We love sharing our own #FiorelliTravels with you just as much as we love seeing yours, and for us, taking our favourite bags on our travels doesn't always necessitate hitting a faraway destination.
Last week, we soaked up the sunshine and hit one of our favourite London spots, Notting Hill. It’s been known over the years for its artistic and alternative culture, and is home to the internationally renowned Portobello Road market and events like the Notting Hill Carnival.
Strolling along Notting Hill’s streets is a feast for the eyes, from its chic boutiques and flowery English pubs to the houses that are awash with vivid colours. It’s so nice to see houses that are painted in fun colours rather than your average brick and mortar or white washes. Who knows, maybe it'll even inspire the colour palette of one of our future ranges?
We were surprised at just how hot the weather was when we were wandering around pretty Notting Hill but luckily we made the right outfit choices. Our #FiorelliStyle consisted of a summer perfect geometric maxi dress and our smart backpack Brodie, which is a great casual take upon the catwalk trend.
Coffee culture is also a thriving art around Notting Hill and there are plenty of cute independents to choose from if you fancy giving the bigger chains a miss. We tested out the newly launched vegan haunt , the Farm Girl Café that we recently spotted in Vogue UK.
The menu boasted a great range of consciously healthy treats, and they are even pet friendly for those who are wanting to pop along for a coffee with their own furry friends. They even have a resident dog which is perfect for any animal lovers.
There’s lots of fashionable décor around Notting Hill just waiting to star on your Instagram page – Our Simone shoulder couldn’t resist striking a pose!
We’d love to see your summer #FiorelliTravels too, so don’t don’t forget to tag us @Fiorelli_Bags and we’ll also re-share our favourites.
