Our Pick of London's Coolest Rooftop Bars

As soon as the summer sunshine arrives, who can resist a cheeky cocktail or two? Move over ground level beer gardens because this summer is all about those stylish rooftop drinking spots.

London has perhaps embraced this trend more than most other cities, so let us show you a few of our favourites that the capital has to offer.

Sky Pod at Sky Gardens

Post 1

Surrounded by more than your fair share of exotic greenery that your average garden provides, the lavish feeling Sky Pod bar is situated within the Sky Garden of London’s Walkie Talkie building.

Soak up the views of the city from what’s so far known to be London’s highest public garden with a 360 degree view. Choose from classic cocktails like the Cosmopolitan to their house signatures such as their gin based London Tea Party. Or for the non-cocktail lovers amongst us, they also boast a great collection of spirits and wines.

Whether you’re evoking upon a short city break in London or are in fact a city dweller, kicking back and enjoying famous sites such as Saint Paul’s or the Shard is always a must.

That’s exactly what’s on offer if you visit the 10th floor of the ME London Hotel as well as a luxury cocktail or two. Cosy fire pits are lit as the sun fades away as cool music sets the ambiance. It’s the perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day.

Boundary Shoreditch

If you’re more of an East London kind of girl, then of course the rooftop trend is a plenty in Shoreditch. Decorated with grape vines and 100 year old olive trees, this sleek rooftop bar is pretty much open come rain or snow. It even offers regular wine tasting sessions if you’re partial to the odd tipple.
